In 2005, Kate McCarthy started a recruitment business with a clear vision: people-first recruitment, where culture fit comes before anything else. 

20 years later, that passion has only grown stronger.

We’ve built relationships we’re proud of—through ups and downs, through surviving Covid, expanding across three locations, and watching our team grow from self-starters into leaders in their own right. It’s all about connection.

Within our first year, we won Best Newcomer at the 2006 Recruiter Awards—just the beginning of a journey that’s seen us achieve multiple Great Place to Work awards (including Best Place to Work for Women), launch our sister business Flexible Meetings, and make an impact with Jump Children’s Charity and The Ukrainian Family Hub. 

While we started as experts in retail recruitment, our success and reputation led us to expand into other key sectors, including HR recruitment, Executive Search, and Manufacturing and Construction recruitment. By diversifying our expertise, we’ve been able to help even more businesses find the right talent while staying true to our values of cultural fit and quality recruitment.
